Hi, I’m Steph Brown.

My Why

The idea for Sage came to me in 2021. Out of the boredom of the Covid-era and the need to connect with other people.

I’d never been in the beauty industry but I knew I could do it better.

Est. 2022

Sage Nail Salon opened in May of ‘22. Since then I have learned - not only the art of nails - but the art of business and persistence.

Mini Bio

Married to my childhood friend for over 20 years. Mom to 5. Usually caught up in an ADHD hyper-focus project.

My Investors

The people who made this all possible.. Not only by raising me but by investing in my idea. Financially and physically. They poured hours into the salon renovations in the months leading up to opening our doors. And they’re two of my biggest cheerleaders.

They own The Paw Pad Doodles in Deer Creek, IL. And they remain part owners of Sage Nail Salon LLC.
